
Round Whitefish


The Round Whitefish (Prosopium cylindraceum) is common in Siberian rivers, found in the tributaries of the Yenisei River all the way to Kolyma. This fish has a rounded, small-scaled body. The color of its back is dark gray. The sides are silvery, with a yellowish tint. Float or spinning rigs work best for catching this fish.
