Ripus
Ripus (Coregonus albula ladogensis) is a large subspecies of European vendace. This fish can be found in such large water bodies of the northern hemisphere as the Ladoga and Onega lakes. The basis of its diet is zooplankton and small fish. The average length of its body is about 20 cm, with a weight of 200 to 400 g. Large specimens can reach a length of more than 40 cm and body weight of up to 1.5 kg.
