Frame-sided carp
This carp is distinguished by a tall body. It got its name for its characteristic scales pattern. Large, mirror-like scales form a type of a frame around the edges of its body. The sides of the framed-patterned carp are usually devoid of scales, but may have separate small scales. When breeding this type of carp, a special emphasis was placed on increasing the mass and strength of the body.
