Atlantic wolffish
Anarhichas lupus is a predatory marine fish. It is found in the Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic Oceans and dwells in the benthic layers at depths of up to 500 m. The Atlantic wolffish has an elongated body covered with fine scales. The head is massive, with powerful teeth that can cope with the hard shell of prey. Body coloring is usually bluish gray with dark transverse stripes. It can reach 1.5 m and weigh about 25 kg. It is most often caught on special bottom tackle with rattles and brightly colored attractants.
