Blue ling
Molva dypterygia is a benthic fish preferring muddy, soft substrates. It is found in the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans. This species prefers to stay near the bottom at depths of 15 to 500 meters. The body is elongated and slender with a narrow tail stem. The lower jaw has with chin tendril and protrudes forward. The eyes are large and convex. The back is grayish-brown and it's abdomen whitish with red-brown spots. The maximum recorded body length is 155 cm with a maximum weight of 30 kg.
