The blunt-snouted lenok is widely distributed in the rivers of Siberia, the Far East, China and Korea. This predatory freshwater fish belongs to the salmon family. Its body has a bar-shaped runny form and fine dense scales. Adults are usually colored dark brown with gold with numerous dark rounded spots. They can reach over 1 meter in length and weigh 12 kg.
