Porbeagle
Lamna nasus range extends from the western Atlantic to the coast of Argentina. In the eastern Atlantic it can be found in both Iceland and South Africa. It is most commonly found near the water's surface but can descend to depths of 500 meters. The Porbeagle has a characteristic appearance of a typical shark. The upper part of its spindle-shaped body has a bluish-gray color, while the belly is light, almost white. The Porbeagle has large triangular teeth. Individuals of this shark species can reach just over 4 m in length with a weight of about 250 kg.
