Caspian Kutum
Large fish of the carp family. It lives in the basin of the Caspian Sea in fresh and lightly salted water. Caspian kutum feeds on aquatic insects and various benthic invertebrates. It has an elongated body that becomes more curly as it gets older. The back is dark with green. The sides are silvery. Adult fish reach 75 cm in length and more than 6 kg of weight.
