Kessler's Herring
This is an anadromous type of fish. Its habitat is the Caspian Sea Basin. Its diet is crustaceans, insect larvae, as well as young fish. It has a bumpy body, a belly with a pronounced keel from the throat to the beginning of the anal fin, and a rather large, broad head with well-developed teeth. The upper part of the head and pectoral fins are dark-colored. It can reach up to 50 cm in length and weigh up to 2 kg
