Albino Grass Carp
This fish is an albino form of white grass carp and belongs to the carp family. Like the common white amur, it inhabits flowing lakes, reservoirs and slow-flowing rivers from the Amur River to southern China, and is also found in the European part of Russia. It has an elongated, flattened body from the sides. The fins are gray, the dorsal and caudal fins are darker. The dorsal scales vary from greenish to grayish-yellow, the sides have a golden cast. The belly is light golden. Adult specimens reach 30 kg and a length of more than 1 m.
