Conger
It lives in the waters of the North Atlantic Ocean and enters the Baltic, Mediterranean and Black Seas. To the north, the conger is common along the coast of Norway. It can be found at depths of up to 500 meters. Externally, the conger is very similar to the river eel, but much larger in size. Its serpentine body is colored dark gray or brown with a white belly. Adults can be up to three and a half metres long and weigh up to 100 kg.
