Chinook Salmon
Oncorhynchus tshawytscha is one of the largest salmonids. It inhabits water bodies of Kamchatka, Chukotka, and the Bering and Okhotsk seas. The Chinook salmon has a large head and a powerful torpedo-shaped body. The color of the scales is silver with small black spots on the back, dorsal and caudal fins. During spawning, the body of the fish turns reddish-brown. The proportions of the body remain the same; in males, the jaws are slightly curved. When fishing for Chinook salmon, you can use float or spinning equipment.
