Mongolian redfin
The Mongolian redfin inhabits the Russian Far East, as well as South-East Asia, Mongolia and Japan. It has an elongated, laterally compressed body covered with medium-sized scales. The back is coloured greenish-grey or brownish-grey. The sides are silver, the dorsal fin and the upper lobe of the caudal fin are dark. Males differ from females by their smaller size and greater number of scales in the lateral line. The maximum size of a caught adult specimen is 64 cm, weighing 4 kg.
