Pontic shad
The Pontic shad (Alosa immaculata) inhabits the Black Sea-Azov Basin. The fish has a long, narrow body. Its back is greenish-blue and its sides are silver-white in color. It can reach 53 cm in length. This fish is mostly caught using float and bottom fishing rigs.
