The Asian Smelt (Osmerus eperlanus) lives in the coastal waters of the Arctic Ocean. It enters the rivers that flow into the ocean. It has an elongated body covered with large silver scales. It differs from the European Smelt by an elongated lower jaw with strong teeth. To catch smelt, you can use float or spinning rigs.
